Growing up in the South Bay of LA, Steve fell in love with the ocean at an early age. From Junior Lifeguards to successfully swimming the Catalina Channel, he’s come a long way in his aquatic journey. July 5, 2014 was a day that will forever change who he is, the day he was attacked by a great white shark.

In today’s episode, Steve recalls the terrifying details of his near death experience while he was out swimming with friends. Steve has remarkably found a way to overcome this fear and shares with the listeners how to do the same. Steve firmly believes sharks are misunderstood by most and should not be feared.
